Research

Having done websites before when this project was given to me I thought this will be pretty easy, therefore I got thinking the website has to be educational in some way shape or form. But because of this subject there is a so many different things I could do. I gave it some thought, and decided I came to the decision that I was going to do my website on Bullying.

Before I came to this conclusion I thought about creating a website with a game implemented aimed towards 5-6 year olds about the alphabet, I was going to cover a few alphabets in a few different languages. However I thought there are already websites out there that have all of this information on them, therefor I felt this wasn't really needed.

Therefore I thought If I was to do bullying then I can cover a more age groups and not just have it aimed at 5-6 year olds. However I didn't want to do this for 5-6 year olds, I want them to understand bullying but I want to go into detail on how bullying can affect and ruin peoples lives.

My target audience for this assignment will be 10-16 year olds now this is quite a big age range to take on, but the way I am going to design this website won't be appropriate for the younger age groups.

Through the website I will cover what bullying is, what different types of bullying there is, I will get people to speak about there own personal experiances within bullying. To implement audio and visual into this website I will take a picture of the person and include a speech underneath the picture. I have a select group of people ready and willing to help me with this topic. It won't be the easiest thing in the world to do because of the damage bullying leaves.

I have done one design of what I kind of want the website to look like, I've always found HTML and CSS quite easy so HTML5 and CSS3 aren't too difficult for me personally.

This is a rough draft on what I have already done, it's not amazing and no where near finished but all I have used for this is CSS3 and HTML5.
